Petstop took away the coveted National Website of the Year, while Kyran O’Mahoney’s (IA Labs) leadership on digital accessibility was recognised with the Digital Advocate of the Year award

Digital Business Ireland, the country’s largest representative body for digital and online businesses, and its premier partner, PTSB , today hosted the National Digital Awards at a celebratory luncheon at the Radisson Blu Royal Hotel, Dublin.

The sold-out event recognised the inspiring efforts of digital businesses the length and breadth of the country. This year’s series comprised of 22 categories featuring Websites, People and Innovation. The PTSB National Website of the Year was won by Petstop, with leading digital accessibility campaigner, Kyran O’Mahoney of IA Labs taking home the Digital Advocate of the Year gong.

This event marked the fourth iteration of the Awards, and it was the most subscribed to yet, with more than 550 businesses, people, and organisations from across Ireland making a submission.

A new category had been added to this year Awards series to reflect the evolution of the burgeoning sector – Best New Artificial Intelligence (AI) & Machine Learning (ML) Project – which commends companies most innovative products launched this year. This inaugural award was won by Galvia showcasing how businesses in Ireland are at the forefront of this new technological innovation.

Speaking at the Awards, Secretary General of Digital Business Ireland, Lorraine Higgins, said: Today was a celebration of the very best of Ireland’s digital businesses. In just four short years, our National Digital Awards series has witnessed tremendous growth in the number and calibre of entries which underscores the growing importance of the sector and how businesses are embracing digital tools to drive change and efficiencies in their businesses.

We are thrilled to celebrate the talent and innovation that is evident across the country. Based on what we’ve seen today, 2024 will be an exciting year for the digital sector.”

Speaking today, Head of Business Banking at PTSB, Seán Farrell said:
