Strength of submissions demonstrate Ireland’s digital businesses are leading the way in digital innovation
Leading digital business representative body, Digital Business Ireland, has today announced the finalists of the 2025 National Digital Awards. Digital Business Ireland launched the organisation’s fifth Digital Awards in October in order to recognise the best digital, ecommerce and innovation businesses in Ireland while celebrating talent across the industry.
This year’s esteemed judging panel were tasked with identifying five finalists across 16 categories including websites, innovation and people, following several hundred submissions. The Awards include the coveted National Website of the Year which identifies Ireland’s best website for functionality, compliance and CX, and the Digital Advocate of the Year.
The finalists will now be invited to make a further submission to the judges which will be considered in February by the judging panel made up of experts from across the digital sector including Caroline Dunlea of Core Optimisation, Victor Timon of Byrne Wallace, Ashley McDonnell of Puig, and others. The winners will then be announced at a supper and prosecco reception on the evening of 27 March 2025, at TwentyTwo, in Dublin 2.
Chairperson of Digital Business Ireland, Caroline Dunlea said, “We were blown away by the hundreds of entries we received, the quality of the applicants and the individual stories of many businesses as they embraced digital in their operations over the course of this year.”
“The Irish business community is relentless in its pursuit to reinvent and deliver solutions for their customers, while moving our economy forward. They have a remarkable ability to adapt, pivot and innovate in a changing world. This proved to be very inspiring to all the judging panel.”
“Selecting the finalists has proven to be a really difficult task in circumstances where the quality and standard was so high. I want to thank everyone who engaged with the process and congratulate those businesses, innovators and talented professionals who have made it through to the next round of the Digital Awards. For those who did not progress this time, please know that your contributions are no less valued, and we encourage you to continue striving, growing and sharing your stories in the future. We look forward to seeing your innovative efforts again in next year’s awards.”
