DBI now accepting entries from Irish companies across 20 categories, rewarding businesses, organisations and individuals who demonstrate digital excellence.

DBI, the country’s leading representative body for the digital commerce sector, and PTSB, Ireland’s leading provider of SME and retail banking, today launched the fourth edition of the National Digital Awards. Digital Business Ireland is now accepting entries from Irish businesses for its 20 categories through the portal on its website.

Proudly supported by PTSB since its inception, the Awards will cover 20 categories, spanning the length and breadth of the digital commerce space, to include: SME Business Website of the Year, Digital Trailblazer, Social Media Campaign of the Year, Digital Advocate of the Year and Sustainable Business of the Year – among many others.

Now in its fourth iteration, an additional category has been included, to reflect the new and emerging trends across the digital sphere; the Innovation in AI Award, as well as 11 website categories vying to win the coveted National Website of the Year title.

Chairperson of Digital Business Ireland, Ashley McDonnell said: “Year on year, we continue to be inspired by how digital businesses in Ireland continue to innovate and evolve, guided by the remarkable people who power them. Following a very turbulent year for tech, the entrepreneurial spirit that has been shown by businesses in the face of great challenges, has been nothing short of remarkable.

The National Digital Awards are an apt forum in which to mark these achievements. Securing national recognition while benchmarking your business against the best in your sector will help to galvanise teams and motivate them ahead of a busy shopping period.

It’s an exciting time for Irish ecommerce companies and the National Digital Awards seeks to highlight the very best in digital throughout Ireland, and it is clear to see that the level of talent in the sector is growing from strength to strength each year.”

Speaking to the announcement Elaine Dunne, Regional Manager at PTSB, said: “PTSB is proud  to return as title sponsor of the National Digital Awards for the fourth year, which showcase the best and brightest in digital in Ireland, while also rewarding businesses, organisations and innovators in the digital commerce space.

We look forward to celebrating the outstanding success of businesses across the country during this year’s awards cycle”

Entries can be submitted at www.digitalbusinessireland.ie/awards with the deadline set on Friday November 17th. All entries are free.
